My hair has a mind of its own! How did this happen you might ask, well lets go back 8 months from now.  I could say that I was starting my natural journey at that time but that is only partially true because I only lasted for a bout a month.  In the meantime I used the two products featured: Shea Moisture’s Moisture Retention Shampoo and the other Miss Jessie’s Creme de la Creme.  Now I heard mixed reviews about Miss Jessies but tried it anyway; Shea Moisture not many people had heard of to begin with so I was truly taking a risk with that one.
Now both products are available at Target the shampoo is only $10 and the conditioner was $16; i know the shampoo bottle seems small but trust me both of these products go a long way.  Mine have almost made it through an entire year but I have short hair and had a sew-in for while as well during my attempted natural journey so it may not last as long depending on the length of your hair.
These two products collectively have completely changed the anatomy of my hair.  The pictures you see featured are of me washing my hair only after 2 weeks after getting a relaxer crazy right! Now I still use the conditioner but I have not used the shampoo anymore for the past 3 months now because of how naturally thick it has made my hair only after using it for 5 months.  PSA: If you have thin hair, I would strongly recommend using Shea Moisture shampoo because it works; your hair will become naturally thick! And it wasn’t even the thickening shampoo so just imagine if I used the one that is specialized for thickening.
Now if you legit want to go natural I would recommend watching videos by Taren on youtube— she has gorgeous hair and great natural hair and maintenance tips. There is also this great website my mom found called Curly Nikki and so many other helpful videos from people who have found success in their natural journey. I will not sell you all any dreams I am not a natural hair expert just someone who used natural hair products that made my hair funky but in a good way, so I highly recommend you watch these videos and product reviews. If you have any questions just drop me a post.  Have a great day guys:)

Epic simplicities are my inspirations sincerely. As sure as my feelings overwhelm, the seasons change yearly. White chaos appears in my wonderland beautifully. I believe the winter’s lack of heat has left my heart shivering, knocking on the devils door won’t thaw these frozen dreams. April showers offers may’s flowers to monetarily distract and deceive.

Beautiful everything. (not quite done…)
